STUDY OF P-I & I-P CONVERTOR APPARATUS
Description:
The present set-up is designed tostudy the working principle and calibration procedure of P/I converter and I/Pconverter. Air pressure is given to both by compressed air output generated bythe both converters is observed and measured. P/I converter accepts thepressure input 0-1 bar and gives output 4-20 mA DC accordingly, which can bemeasured using Digital Current Source/Meter. And in case of I/P converter, thecurrent input of 4-20 mA DC is given to I/P Converter by Digital Current Source/Meterand output response in 3-15 PSIG is observed and measured by Bourdon typePressure Gauge.
The set-up is self-contained with Airpressure regulator, pressure gauges and necessary piping.
All component and accessories areproperly mounted on the rigid MS structure and fitted on a base plate to form atable top set-up.

To study of linearity, hysteresis,accuracy and repeatability of I/P and P/I Converter.
