PIPE SURGE AND WATER HAMMER APPARATUS
Edutek are manufacturer and exporter of Pipe Surge and water Hammer Apparatus for engineering training Equipment.
- Self-contained unit designed to demonstrate the phenomenon of pipe surge and water hammer by gradual or fast closing of valves in the pipe line.
- Two separate stainless steel straight pipes with service module and Fluid Mechanics: Pipe Surge & Water Hammer constant head tank are used in this equipment.
- Analogue voltage outputs from these pressure transducers can be recorded for detailed studies.
- A Hydraulic Bench consisting of measuring tank, storage tank and centrifugal pump should be used to circulate water.
- Experimental Capabilities related to Pipe Surge.
- Demonstration of pipe surge and oscillations.
- Study of oscillations in the surge shaft.
- Study of frictional loss between the head tank and the surge shaft.
