HYDRODYNAMICS OF TRICKLE BED REACTOR APPARATUS
Description
The set-up consists of a glasscolumn. Arrangement is made for changing the glass column conveniently andfilling it with any type of packing required. Air from a regulated pressurevessel passes through a sparger and allowed to enter in the column at the top.
Liquid is feed from a tank, fittedwith a pump and is distributed at the top of a column using a spray nozzle.Set-up is fully accompanied with manometers required.
Solenoid valves are provided in thefeed line at the top of column for instant release and close.
The flow rate can be adjusted byoperating the valves provided in respective line.

To determineHydrodynamics of a Trickle Bed Reactor involving the measurement of pressuredrop, hold-up & flow regime.

ElectricitySupply: Single Phase, 220 V AC, 50 Hz, 5-15 Amp combined socket with earthconnection. Earth voltage should be less than 5 volts.
Compressed Airsupply@2 Bar.
